Our History

In 1975 our founder, Dr. Floyd B. Cherry
successfully chartered Carolina Bible Institute as a nonprofit
corporation in North Carolina for the purpose of operating a Bible
Institute and “such other enterprises as are necessary for the
dissemination of Biblical knowledge and training.” We operated as a
Bible Institute until 1987 when a seminary department was added.

Carolina Bible Institute is located
in Pine Level, North Carolina, near the intersections of two major
highways — Interstate 95 and US 70. This makes us accessible from every
direction. At the present, we conduct classes on Monday mornings and
afternoons and Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights and through distant
learning courses.

The Institute is not owned by any
Church or denomination. However, we are Baptistic in our theology and
seek to be true to God’s Word in all of our teachings.

We accept any qualified student who is a Christian without consideration of denomination.
